What is a Psychometric Assessment?

A psychometric assessment is a standardized test that evaluates a student's knowledge, skills, and abilities related to academic learning. It provides information for instruction, identifies areas of need, and tracks progress over time.

How Do Psychometric Assessments Work?

Psychometric assessments involve carefully designed tests and questionnaires completed by the individual. They assess various aspects such as personality, interests, values, and cognitive abilities. Qualified career counsellors analyze the results, interpret the profile, identify patterns, and offer insights and recommendations based on the assessment findings.

Are your services HPCSA registered?

Yes, both our psychometric assessments and our team of experienced counsellors are HPCSA registered. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is a prerequisite for professional practice.

Wondering if your medical aid covers career assessments?

While some medical aids may offer coverage, it's essential to check with them directly regarding their specific cover options. Reach out to your medical aid to understand how our provided codes may allow you to claim back a portion of the assessment cost, depending on your policy structure and coverage. Kindly note that Path Start doesn't handle medical aid payments directly, and we cannot be held responsible for unpaid accounts resulting from medical aid non-payments.
